Use your mobile phone or tablet as a remote control for your @COM Business Manager telephone(s), all you require in advance is your own @COM Business Manager phone system with an active @COM Personal Call Manager account.
Using the web-version of the @COM Personal Call Manager many of the features on your phone connected to your @COM Business Manager phone system can be controlled, this mobile-version ("App") adds some additional features to that;
1. Easier usage due to no longer requiring to use a web browser and be logged on instantly.
2. Enrich the phone book within your @COM Personal Call Manager with the personal contacts stored on your mobile phone or tablet.
3. Exchange your mobile phone status with your colleagues (if you like) so that they can see you are in a call on your mobile phone.
4. Choose to dial numbers using your own mobile provider or the fixed land line attached to the @COM Business Manager phone system.
REMARKS:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. This App cannot operate as a stand-alone solution!
To use this App you require a working @COM Business Manager phone system with software version v2.90.0 or higher which is accessible over Internet (using HTTPS) and have a personal user account for the @COM Personal Call Manager. If you are unsure if you have this, please contact the person responsible for maintaining the phone-system at your office.
2. This App is not a Voice over IP phone! (Call over Internet)
To call someone you will require a @COM Business Manager phone which you can already control using the web-version of the @COM Personal Call Manager. This phone may be a so called "Fixed/Mobile extension" on the @COM Business Manager Phone System, allowing calls to be delivered to your mobile phone. However, these calls will arrive over the standard mobile network into the default phone application of your mobile phone (not this App). The Internet is solely used to send control commands between the @COM Business Manager application and this "App".
3. Carrier-costs may apply in certain cases.
For example if you choose to call using your own mobile provider, or when you are "roaming" and your mobile provider charges you for inbound calls.
